Fabrication Capabilities & Equipment

The T BAILEY LLC fabrication crew completes the entire steel plate fabrication process in-house. The sequence includes cutting plates to size, rolling, forming, drilling, conforming, joint preparation, and welding assembly. All welders are AWS D1.1 certified and qualified in submerged arc welding, gas metal arc welding, shielded metal arc welding, and dual shield welding.

Our facility is equipped to handle heavy steel plate fabrication at scale. Plate-bending rolls capable of rolling 2.75-inch-thick by 10-foot-wide steel plate allow us to form heavy-wall components that many regional fabricators cannot accommodate. CNC plasma cutting machines and 11-foot by 50-foot water-table cutters deliver precise plate steel fabrication across a range of thicknesses and geometries. Material-handling equipment includes several 20-ton overhead bridge cranes, forklifts rated up to 55 tons, and RT hydraulic cranes with a 60-ton capacity. Combined with over 120,000 square feet of production space, this equipment base supports custom steel plate fabrication for large and complex projects on schedule.
