Testimonial

There was no better intermediary for ensuring the construction project was always running smoothly and at its peak. They were a great coordinator and leader; able to convince everyone from subcontractors to engineers to follow their lead. This is because they exude knowledge and expertise that inspires trust in their work.

The Nyanza Tank and Booster Replacement had many scheduling hurdles to overcome by T Bailey. The District needed to build the new 2MG tank and booster station while keeping the existing online. T Bailey was able to work with the surrounding neighborhood, come up with innovative solutions, and bring the new tank and booster station online smoothly and with very few changes to the project.

I would like to suggest you work with the company, TBailey LLC
I strongly reference the partnership of the company for your contractor.

T Bailey LLC has built over a dozen petroleum storage tanks for our site and rebuilt a number of others in our working tank farm in the last several years.

While known for their remarkable speed to complete their work, in our case, it has been done safely despite very congested working conditions with the other trades and often rough weather conditions- both high winds and rain. Work was stopped appropriately when wind was a problem and proper precautions were taken.

Highly experienced oversight was brought in on the more challenging tasks to insure safe completion at our site. T Bailey’s equipment is usually the newest and in the best condition, which I’m sure helps their success.

We’d recommend T Bailey LLC for future work.

TARGA SOUND TERMINAL LLC

T Bailey worked diligently from the initial quote stage through fabrication to meet the needs of our client and have demonstrated their professionalism and experience at every turn. They have opened their doors and entertained multiple visits from both ROC Equipment and SFI before and during the fabrication process. While onsite, T Bailey representatives answered various technical questions that demonstrated their vast knowledge of the product and the drilling industry in particular. The attention to detail and QA/QC was obvious when observing the fabrication process and both ROC and SFI were extremely impressed. Employees took great care in their work, which says a lot about the employees themselves, but also their employer. T Bailey has also been very amenable to any design changes and schedule changes that have been requested by our client.

Above all, it has been TBailey’s product that has been so superior. The exceptional rolling, welding, and flush grinding actually caused excitement when the casing arrived to the project jobsite.

Based on this response and our own satisfaction, T Bailey will be ROC’s casing fabricator of choice, regardless of where the project is located. Potential savings in shipping costs from a closer fabricator are not worth foregoing the high quality product offered by T Bailey.

The Fabrication Process For Fireguard® Tanks

At T BAILEY LLC, we take pride in fabricating the best Fireguard® tanks in the Northwest. From design to fabrication and painting to shipment, we are your one-stop-shop solution for robust and long-lasting fuel tanks.

To give you an idea of the dedication the T BAILEY LLC team puts into our Fireguard® tanks, here is a brief walk-through of what goes on in the shop when you order a tank from us. For more information about our Fireguard fuel storage tanks, contact T BAILEY LLC today.

Engineering And Design

You don’t need to worry about engineering or design when you order a tank from us. The only information we need from you is how large of a tank you need (how many gallons), and what orientation and shape of tank you want (vertical vs. horizontal, cylindrical vs. rectangular).

Armed with that information, our design team will do the necessary calculations and engineering and then design the tank for you.

Once you’ve approved our tank design, we’ll start the fabrication process.

Fabrication

We begin by fabricating the inner tank (also called the “primary tank”). This involves cutting the steel plate with CNC plasma machines, rolling the plate into cylinders, welding the longitudinal and circumferential seams, and attaching both heads to form the tank.

Next, we fabricate the outer tank (also called the “secondary tank”). This process is the same as for the inner tank, except that we only attach one head — keeping the tank open on one end.

All that’s left is to unite the two tanks into one, but first, we need to do some testing.

Leak Testing

First, we do a leak test on the primary tank to ensure that it is sealed and leak free.

Once the inner tank successfully completes testing, it’s time to merge the two tanks. This involves sliding the primary tank inside the outer tank and then welding on the outer tank’s final head — completely encasing the primary tank within the outer tank.

Next, we do a leak test on the outer tank to ensure that there are no leaks. Doing a leak test requires that we repressurize the primary tank so that it doesn’t collapse under the pressure filling the interstitial space.

Coating

After both tanks successfully complete our testing processes, we move them off the production line and transfer them to our in-house painting division. There they are blasted and painted according to your specifications.

Insulation Installation

In between the inner primary tank and the outer secondary tank is a 3-6 inch space that we fill with lightweight concrete.

This insulated concrete is 75% lighter than standard concrete and its extreme lightness means lower transportation and installation costs for you.

Depending on your tank size and weight we may need to fill the interstice once it’s delivered and installed on your project site.

Shipping

Depending on your project site we can economically ship your tank by truck or barge.   When necessary, we send our insulation crew out to the job site and they will fill the space with the lightweight concrete.

Inspection

After the tank is complete it is inspected by STI or UL. Once it passes all required inspections we are finally able to stick the official Fireguard® and UL labels on your tank.

Advantages Of Ordering Your Fireguard® Tanks From T BAILEY LLC

We Have An In-House Coatings Division

We’re a SSPC QP3 certified coating facility, making T BAILEY LLC your one-stop-shop for Fireguard® fuel tanks.

Because we’re not dependent on subcontractors for coatings, we can control the schedule and quality much better. And by painting your tank within the same facility that it was fabricated in, we eliminate the need to ship it to a third party — saving you time and money.

Budget-Friendly Shipping Options

Another advantage of ordering your Fireguard® tanks from T BAILEY LLC is that we offer three different shipping options to our customers: truck, rail, and barge.

Depending on the size and quantity of the order, we can ship straight of the deep-water port at Anacortes — an extremely economical method of getting your new Fireguard® tanks to the job site.
